Description
This course reviews major principles of international law for the conservation of the wildlife and biological diversity that compose Earth's biosphere. We will discuss international agreements on biological diversity, oceans fisheries, migratory species, and wildlife trade. The course employs a problem-solving perspective that takes account of biology and economics, and reviews policy and management tools for conservation. The course is part of the Environmental Law Summer Session.
