American University Washington College of Law received top rankings for diversity, public service, international law, and trial advocacy in the Winter 2020 edition of preLaw Magazine.

Four professors at American University Washington College of Law were honored Wednesday, Jan. 29 as winners of the annual Faculty Scholarship Awards.  

From Jan. 13-25, 2020, American University Washington College of Law hosted 16 judges, prosecutors, and defense attorneys from across Latin America for the latest iteration of the Diplomado en Litigación Oral Penal.

On Thursday, Jan. 23, American University Washington College of Law hosted its annual Spring Externship Fair. The law school’s Externship Program organized over 160 employers into Claudio Grossman Hall for the event, which has routinely been the largest legal externship fair in the nation and attracts students from all levels.

Issues surrounding immigration become more and more salient in today’s political headspace. AUWCL’s online course, “Introduction to U.S Immigration Law,” offers a look behind the legal structures that generate immigration policy, enforce deportation, process visas, and protect human rights.
