American University Washington College of Law ranked 46th in the recently-released 2021 Sisk Citation Rankings, a jump of 18 places over last year, and a testament to hard work and acumen of the leading legal scholars who make up the AUWCL faculty.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Commission on Environmental Law has named Professor David Hunter among its inaugural recipients of the Nicholas Robinson Award for Excellence in Environmental Law. The award honors individuals who have dedicated their careers toward advancing the environmental rule of law.
