For the past 25 years, the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law has worked with students, academics, practitioners, and activists to provide scholarship and support for human rights initiatives around the world. This year, the Center will celebrate its 25th Anniversary with a daylong conference on April 12 with expert panel discussions examining the role of law schools in promoting and protecting human rights.

AUWCL Hosts 20th Meeting of the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization Advisory Committee

From March 31 to April 1, the law school hosted the 20th Meeting of the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization’s (ITSO) Advisory Committee. Comprised of 23 of the 149 Parties to the ITSO Agreement, the Advisory Committee convenes between ITSO’s Assembly of Parties and gives advice and feedback to the Director General of ITSO between Assembly of Parties.
