Two American University Washington College of Law students have been named to the 2017 class of Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC) Fellows. Katherine Beck and Jazmin Chavez will help provide legal assistance to immigrants fighting deportation through partnerships with New York non-profits.

She has gained valuable experience that she hopes to share with new students in the future.

The American University Business Law Brief made the transition to a full Law Review in Fall 2011, becoming the first comprehensive business law journal in Washington, D.C. Since then, the Business Law Review (BLR) has significantly increased law review opportunities for students at AUWCL – more than 230 students have participated in BLR since its launch.

Professor Popper Named Bronfman Scholar in Administrative Law

American University Washington College of Law has named Professor Andrew F. Popper the Ann Loeb Bronfman Scholar in Administrative Law. This 3-year endowed chair stems from a donation from Ann Loeb Bronfman, an heir to the Seagrams fortune, who made the gift because of her connection with the late dean of AUWCL, Fred Anderson, a specialist in administrative law and environmental law.
