American University Washington College of Law’s Program on Law & Government hosted the second in a series of General Counsel Forums April 10, addressing the role of Inspector Generals working with federal agencies and departments.

After winning the Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition of the Jessup International Moot Court Competition, American University Washington College of Law competed in the international round, advancing to the round of 16 in the global competition.

Litigators, advocates and the Special Olympics came together Thursday, April 5 at American University Washington College of Law for a discussion on how the law can be used to break down barriers for those with disabilities.

As chair of the Africa Legal Conference, an annual event that promotes legal education regarding Africa and its development, 3L JD/MBA student Michelle Emokpae said this year’s conference aimed to “to dispel the misconceptions of Africa through education.”
