Lukas Gonçalves

Lukas is a Technology Law and Policy Fellow at the Wikimedia Foundation, where he works on a variety of challenging projects related to copyright, freedom of speech, mobile development, and corporate compliance. He has over four years of experience in policy and research on internet issues, including intellectual property, international trade, privacy, telecommunications, and antitrust. He is also a PhD candidate in Intellectual Property Law at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in Brazil, where he studies AI authorship under Professor Marcos Wachowicz. He holds an LL.M. in IP and Technology from the American University Washington College of Law and a Master's degree in IP Law from UFPR. He has published multiple articles and blog posts on IP and technology topics, and has been cited by the GAO report on AI and IP policy.
