Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property

PIJIP's 12th Annual Peter A. Jaszi Distinguished Lecture on Intellectual Property will be delivered by Professor Matthew Sag from Emory University School of Law. The lecture will focus on Fairness and Fair Use in Generative AI and will take place on September 28th both in person and online.

New InfoJustice blog post on "Taking Copyright's Balance Too Seriously" by Lokesh Vyas. The paper was published in the Indian Journal of Intellectual Property Law and discusses the genealogy copyright's "balance" metaphor.

During Mike's 16 years with PIJIP, he worked on issues at the intersection of Copyright and Economics.  Mike is moving on to the U.S. Copyright Office where he will be working on registration and other government data to apply to policy issues.  Mike is an economist by training.
