The Clinical Law Review has published a new paper coauthored by PIJIP Professor Victoria Phillips and University of Pennsylvania Professor Cynthia Dahl. "Innovation and Tradition: A Survey of Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinics."  

A team of student attorneys from Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Clinic filed an amici curiae brief with the U.S. Supreme Court urging the Court to affirm a decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, which held that Section 411(a) of the Copyright Act allows plaintiffs to sue for copyright infringement only after the Copyright Office has issued a final action on an application for registration.

Professor Jennifer Daskal, who teaches technology law at WCL, was featured in an ABA Journal story on law enforcement efforts to access personal data on people's personal devices.

The Program on Information Justice and Intellectual property to host the Fifth Global Congress on Intellectual Property and the Public Interest September 27-29 at American University Washington College of Law.

PIJIP Profs. Sean Flynn, Peter Jaszi and Michael Carroll were among seven law professors and practitioners who jointly drafted comments on pending South African copyright legislation from the Copyright User Rights Network and Creative Commons.
