PIJIP is pleased to announce that for the fifth year in a row, American University’s Intellectual Property Law Program is ranked among the top 10 intellectual property programs in the country in the U.S. News 2023 Law School rankings.

PIJIP Professor Jonas Anderson was quoted in a recent story on Apple's patent litigation before Judge Alan Albright, and its representation by local firms in Texas. 

Prof. Phillips told the Post that FCC fines are for obscenity are rare, but the threat of very high fines has led media companies to follow FCC guidelines. She noted that indecency guidelines cover a variety of types of content

Last week a compromise version of the proposed waiver  of WTO intellectual property obligations meant to help fight COVID-19 was leaked to the press. PIJIP Director Sean Flynn was quoted in a Law 360 article on the compromise.
