PIJIP Senior Researcher Andrés Izquierdo attended the 55th World Intellectual Property General Assembly in Geneva this week.

On July 5, PIJIP Senior Researcher Andres Izquierdo will present at a virtual conference on "Text and Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence and Copyright", co hosted by PIJIP and the Dominican Republic's National Office of Copyright.

Prof. Sean Flynn recently presented "Responding to COVID Through Recognition of the Right to Research in Comparative Copyright" at the 40th annual meeting of the Association for the Advancement of Teaching and Research in Intellectual Property (ATRIP).

The legislation would require online news aggregators to enter into licensing agreements with news companies in order to display snippets, titles or links to their content.
