Rohit Khanna retired from the World Bank in 2021 after a career of thirty years in international organizations. His last assignment was Manager of Global Energy Programs. In that capacity, he oversaw the World Bank’s Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) and Energy Climate Finance programs. Prior to that, he worked on the establishment and operations of the Clean Technology Fund and Global Environment Facility. Before joining the World Bank, Rohit worked for the United Nations Environment Program from 1991 to 2000 and in Save the Children’s Bhutan Field Office in 1990. He has a Bachelors degree from the University of Delhi and Masters in Public Administration from American University.
