Professor Robert K. Goldman to be honored at the second Inter-American System on Human Rights (IASHR) Forum

The Academy is proud to announce that our Co-Chair, Professor Robert K. Goldman, will be honored at the second Inter-American System on Human Rights (IASHR) Forum, organized by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in Bogotá, Colombia. The forum, which will be attended by several high-ranking authorities, will focus on The Future of the Inter-American Human Rights System. The event will include a tribute to honor former IACHR commissioner Professor Goldman in recognition of his lifelong commitment to defend human rights, as well as a series of panel discussions on priority issues in the human rights agenda in the Americas. This forum will include celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man, the 40th anniversary of the entry into force of the American Convention on Human Rights, and International Human Rights Day.
