Gloria Baidoo

 

Gloria Baidoo is the Administrative Coordinator at the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. She provides administrative support for the center, coordinates events and manages social media outreach. Ms. Baidoo is currently pursuing her second master’s degree in international Affairs Policy and Analysis at American University. Her thematic competence is in Human Rights and the professional competence is in methods and Analytics. While earning her master’s degree at American University, she is a recipient of the SIS Deans award fellow and research fellowship ward from Adel Ait Ghezala Graduate Research Fellowship.

Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Baidoo worked as the Assistant Registrar (Evaluation and Documentation) at Academic City University College in Ghana validating students’ assessment for further processes by affiliated Institutions. She worked at Immeri Ghana as the Marketing Executive promoting the image and brand of the company. She worked at Lockwood Institute as Project Manager coordinating training programs for top officials in different Organizations. Ms. Baidoo worked at Dominion University as Administrative Secretary and rose through the ranks to Assistant Registrar. She worked at Tullow Oil Ghana as the Community Liaison Officer where she managed the cooperate social responsibility office of Ellembelle District fostering local relationships for Corporate Social Responsibility and promoting the image of the Company. Ms. Baidoo worked at Coastal Resources Center, a USAID NGO, as the Program Assistant/Procurement Officer in Ghana where she contributed to the project success.
