The Moot Court Honor Society of American University, Washington College of Law
Is Pleased To Announce
The 15th Annual Burton D. Wechsler First Amendment Moot Court Competition
Join us for an exciting competition where law students from across the country will come together in the Nation's Capitol to argue an interesting and timely First Amendment issue. You will argue before top practitioners and judges from the D.C. area, and are sure to sharpen your appellate advocacy skills early on in the year before the slew of Spring competitions begin. In addition, we will again offer an oral advocacy workshop for all interested competitors. The workshop was given last year by the Honorable Boyce Martin and Supreme Court Litigator, Thomas Goldstein.
The Wechsler Competition will take place on October 23-25, 2008. Please check this website for ongoing updates. Online registration is now open. We will accept the first 30 teams to register and pay in full. Registration: $375/team; $550/2 teams. REGISTER NOW! ONLY TWO SPOTS LEFT!
