WCL Holds West Coast Interview Program and Alumni Reception
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations and the Office of Career and Professional Development are holding and alumni networking reception with students participating in the West Coast Interview Program Thursday, Aug. 21, at Bryan Cave, LLP in Santa Monica California. Fall Recruitment On-Campus Interviews Begin This Week
More than 60 legal employers will conduct interviews this week to launch the 2008 Fall Recruitment Program. Hundreds of additional law firm and public sector employers will be recruiting on campus and though our Direct Application, Resume Collection and various Specialty and Regional Recruiting Programs in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Boston. Orientation for New and Returning Students, Aug. 20 - 23
The Washington College of Law will host a series of events and activities to orient new students to their surroundings and allow them to start the process of networking with one another, faculty, staff and alumni. Orientation activities begin on Wednesday, Aug. 20, and will culminate with activities for incoming evening students on Saturday, Aug. 23. See full schedule of events.

Professor Dinerstein Re-elected to Council of ABA Legal Education Section
Professor Robert Dinersteinwas re-elected to a three-year term on the Council of the ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. The Section - through its Accreditation Committee and the Section Council - promulgates the American Bar Association's Standards for Approval of Law Schools and determines law school accreditation. The Section also studies and makes recommendations for the improvement of the bar admission process. Dinerstein directs WCL's Clinical Program as well as the Disability Rights Law Clinic, and teaches and writes in the area of disability law.
