Jessica Ciani-Dausch joined the Washington College of Law faculty in Fall 2007. She teaches Legal Rhetoric and coordinates the Multicultural and International Student Organization (MISO) programs offered through the Legal Rhetoric Program. Prior to joining the WCL faculty, Professor Ciani-Dausch taught legal writing full-time at Cornell Law School. Prior to teaching, Professor Ciani-Dausch was a practicing attorney at Baker & McKenzie LLP in Washington, D.C., working on securities regulatory matters related to multinational business activities. She advised foreign broker-dealers and foreign investment advisers on the application of U.S. securities laws to cross-border business activities and assisted in the representation of large custodian banks holding securities in foreign jurisdictions.
Professor Ciani-Dausch holds a Juris Doctor and a Masters of Science in Foreign Service, with a concentration in international commerce and finance, from Georgetown University.
